Then after Jesse had morning kindy Renate made an amazing lunch. Jesse suggested that it involve lots of chocolate (he knows his daddy well).
So Renate made cheese and ham croissant and chocolate chic pikilets. Our next door neighbour then came over to surprise me with a lovely bag of treats (favourites chocs, smarty choc bar, strawberry liquorice, choc. donuts and lollipops)

After lunch we heady down to Nana and Uncle Peter's place for afternoon tea

Crab Hunting July 2010

During the school holidays on a cold Sunday morning we headed to Wellington's Bay. Jesse wanted to go Crab hunting. Daddy hinted for much warmer options (Daddy lost). We collected our jackets and hats then headed off to find some crabs. As soon as we got out of the car Jesse says "its very windy and cold" So we sat in the warmth of the car and had our lunch.

We eventually got up the courage to brave the elements and have some family fun mid winter crab hunting.
Jesse and Daddy found a crab under a huge rock. We put the crab on top of a rock for Jesse to have a closer look.
Now you see it.....
Now you don't.
Also we found some rock pools with things like star fish and little tiny fish.

All in all we had a very fun adventure at the beach hunting for crabs.

I love this photo.

Out of the ashes comes new life.

A new Pine tree sprouts up out of
a BBQ.

Reminds me never to give up.
